Madonna, 66, could be taking things to the next level with her 28-year-old boyfriend after showing off a new ring as she celebrates the new year.
The Like A Virgin hitmaker spent the holidays with Akeem Morris, shutting down any breakup rumours with a series of shirtless snaps of her ripped beau.
Now, she has fuelled wedding bell rumours after uploading a set of photos in which she is flashing a bright diamond ring on the finger traditionally used for an engagement ring.
In one photo she is posing with her hand wrapped around a small bowl, with the Bijules jewel glinting in the corner. The jewelry line from Joan Kim has provided accessories for the likes of Letitia Wright,Beyonce,Rita OraandDoja Cat.
In another photo gives us a closer look at the flashy ring with her arm wrapped around someone’s shoulder.
And, of course, there is the snap of her walking down the corridor with her bejewelled hand held aloft next to the former college soccer player.
In her caption, she wrote: ‘Here’s to more Love- To happy children-to magical thinking-to good health and eternal blessings.
‘I give thanks and praise To anyone being brave,- in this life and all the others. In 2025 I raise a glass to anyone who has the courage to be Their authentic selves.’
If true, this would be Madonna’s third marriage after Sean Penn in the 80s and Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008.
And it would also mark a radical turn from the rumours just weeks ago that the couple had called it quits after a summer romance. Although the pair first met in 2022 at a Paper Magazine shoot, they only gave their romance a go in July 2024.
‘Madonna ran into the same issue with this boy toy as she has with all of her recent men,’ a source told theDaily Mailat the time.
The source continued: ‘The age difference became an issue. They come from different time periods.
‘When the globe-trotting stopped, the excitement stopped as well. It was just time for them to go their separate ways.’

Before Akeem, the Queen of Pop was believed to be dating boxing trainer Josh Popper in 2023, although they parted ways in May 2024 after their relationship was unable to survive Madonna’s work commitments.
The chart-topper has had ups and downs in 2024 from recovering from her health scare which forced her to delay her Celebration Tour dates to bringing the mammoth tour to a close in Brazil with a record-breaking performance.
As for whether 2025 will be a year to remember for Madonna’s love life, it remains to be seen.
